Villageway Property Management employees, families and friends participate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s ‘ Light the Night Walk” held each year, in memory of John C. Kubas, founder of Villageway Property Management Since 2002, we have raised over $100,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Villageway is a continuous supporter of Hoag Memorial Hospital’s SS2 Club, the oldest and largest of Hoag Hospital’s community-based, volunteer driven, financial support groups. The 552 Club has raised more than $25 million for the hospital since its founding in 1966. Villageway is an active participant in Daffodil Days. This event marks one of the American Cancer Society Orange County Region’s largest fund raisers, with the goal of raising $500,000 each year for the continuation of free, lifesaving cancer patient services, such as low-cost mammography, transportation to and from medical treatments, Look Good Feel Better make-over classes, a wig bank, prosthesis fitting and home-care equipment loans. Money raised from Daffodil Days also sponsors early detection trainings, cancer prevention education, and valuable cancer research grants awarded to researchers nation wide and right here in Orange County.
Villageway has also donated to Home Aid Orange County, an organization founded in 1989 by the 0range County Chapter of the Building lndustry Association of Southern California. Home Aid is successfully utilizing the skills, talents, and financial resources of BIA-member companies and the community to construct and renovate homeless shelters throughout Orange County. Villageway previously sponsored the associated Project Playhouse, an annual fundraiser for Home Aid Orange County.
